Hi everyone,
I am on a slow dialup connection. I live very rural so DSL or cable is not available here.
With the animation images it takes a very long time to load the image.
So what I am wondering is if whoever posts animation images could make the thumbnail image without it being an animated GIF file. I waited about 10 minutes for a page of thumbs to load. And of course, I did not look at the large image as it would take even longer.

It is possible to do just that I have done it myself many times. it also depends on what program is being used now if it is a gif file it is supposed to be limited in size and also upload size, however lately some have been rather large.. At the time we were all asked to keep the upload around 1 meg but again I would suggest possibly asking the person to simply make it smaller.. but there are rules for size and upload size.. in the animation forum

take care
:)

Rules Here (http://www.innertraveler.com/messagecenter/showthread.php?t=549)

However you can not upload an animated gif over 199 pixels wide or tall (no other limits though.)

Animated gifs take a long time to load even on cable! Not as bad as when the size was larger though.
