I've had a look at the "How to's" of messaging etc., and made a quick search, but haven't come across how I can upload an original photo which was incorporated into an image I created using several photos etc.
I was expecting to click on the image icon and be given the Browse option, but all I got was a script thingy in which to insert a url between the html IMG brackets in one mode, or just the [IMG] in the body text in the other mode. :disbelief
Can anyone help please? Thanks.

Sorry you have lost me :thinkey: Do you want to attach an image to a forum post here? If so when you have finished typing what it is want to say, scroll down and click the button "Manage Attachements" you then browse to the image - click upload, click submit, and the thread with image attached is posted. Clear visual instructions on doing this can be found at This Thread (http://www.innertraveler.com/messagecenter/showthread.php?p=5220#post5220) - If that's not what you meant could you explain?

I'm talking about attachments inside a comment to a picture.
Go to this image and comment thread..
http://www.innertraveler.com/publicgallery/showphoto.php?photo=17718
and you will see that Robert S has done exactly what I wanted to be able to do. For some reason, I don't appear to have the facility of managing attachments in the gallery section where comments are made. I have it here in this forum, but not there, yet he does despite we're both just subscribers here :thinkey: ?

I see what you mean - well I don't know how he did that either but my guess was he used what you described above but all I got was a script thingy in which to insert a url between the html IMG brackets in one mode, or just the [IMG] in the body text in the other mode I reckon he loaded the image to a server and used the Insert Image link to link to it.
Edit: And (just checked this so I know it to be true) if you right click the image and look at properties you will see that is exactly what he did do :boogie:

The only way to do that is to use the link button on the page you type your reply one like... http addy here

I think :D actually I think you can just use the code in your reply and it should work.

Exactly!!

Right click - look at the properties and you can see where this image is actually stored. (it is royalty free by the way!) All I did was click on the "insert Image" link (under size and colour for font properties) and then paste in the url of the image).

Keep the pictures coming - they're most interesting! lol!
Thanks so much.. Yes, I wondered whether I would have to upload to a storage area on the net first, which is a bit of a pain, but not beyond possibilities. It all depends on whether links from msn groups work! lol! (I have one set aside purely for storing images!)
So I'll give it a try here...

Can you see this?

Well darn it! I had a feeling that might happen - it's a closed (private) storage area, so it looks as though I will have to find an alternative place to upload to... Hmmmmmm........ :sprint:
