I must admit that beyond the kind of thing I did, I couldn't think of anything else to do with this... I had hoped there would be more contestants by now, but I can understand where Carolyn's coming from.

Well, there are many ways one can take this. Nikky's image used the image itself. But one can use a poser model to do this... think along the lines of a city, country or even the world rising from the ashes of adversity, or disaster. A bright light shining rising, giving hope. When I saw that statue, those and more thoughts came to my head.

I'm working on a sketch for it, but not sure if I'll have it done, as I've a few things on my plate right now LOL... :) But basically the idea is to depict it ... It could be a phoenix, or a person, or even a city after rising from the ashes. Ashes meaning any devasting thing that could happen and they recover and survive.

Example: Gone with the Wind... Scarlet, forlorn and broken, having lost every thing, raises her hand to the heavens and declares she will not be broken.... I forgot the words she used in that scene, but that's what I'm saying, even a person can 'rise from the ashes.'

I think that there are ideas enough because there is a world of thoughts behind it. I will see. Where can I show my first sight of view?

I really do understand your predicament! lol! :juggle:

Um.. I think these two have got a bit mixed up! I just noticed the link brought me here to the collaborator's corner, but that there are also congrats for the Fine Arts challenge here too? (There didn't seem to be a link to the Fine Arts ForUm - maybe there isn't one come to think of it!)

So.. Congratulations also to Vos, Wile and BigH in the Collaboration Challenge.

Well done everyone!

EDIT: I HAVE NOW ADDED THE LINK TO THE FINE ARTS FORUM IN THE ANNOUNCEMENT.

Hope that's Ok..
