On the render window, at the bottom, three things
1. save parameters - got that
2. Post Render - what does this do???????????????
3. Shut Down on complete - LOL!! i thought it would shut down the program, not my whole computer!! LOLOL

Okay Sass #1 you don't want to save your parameters that way that is mainly for posting to sheep which is what the post render is...
actually you don't want to use any of those only do leave the top one checked as it came when you got it.

How to save your parameter
go to file ....... save parameter another window will open top one be sure you have a path to where you want it to go.. example I save all mine in a folder called gallery, you can name the folder anything you want.
on the bottom line name your flame, if there is a name in there already just back it out and put your own name in there then click on save and it will be saved in the folder you have set up for it to go to. (see the example of image 2 in the other forum)

Yes the shut down all that in your render to disk if all are checked and you had the path for the sheep site which is where you can submit an image that will go into a screen saver for everyone or anyone to use it would be posted there.... that would be something you would have to set up with Scott aka spot not something I would suggest most that submit there have been doing fractals for a number of years. I don't evenpost to it...

Thanks Carolyn :-) Actually, if i click the save parameter box... all my renders go into one icon named "renders" in the folder I save my images to.. that way, I can open that up and see all the renders Ive done listed all in one fell swoop. seems to me that saves a lot of space.

Yes you do want that top one checked and after a good day of making flames your folder can be anything you want, Sounds like this is working for you and that is all that counts.
