I am removing Lances Link because unless it is uploaded via ftp it gets way to deep into his site, and I would not want to be responsible for anything happening to his site.
So unless you have a direct link please do not list Lances private link to his site information..most do not have ftp to download through, lol most don't know what ftp is

... thx - until now I've taken only one look in the 2.03a ... maybe only a bugfix?
And what means 'New Z'?

Robert on the new z frankly I am confused myself since z version was incorporated into the new 2.03a apo version now unless the guy that made the z version has released another update to it. my suggestion would be to stay with apo version 2.03b Now.
However I am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, or explain if there are really two new versions or just one.
Confusing isn't it.:)

I hope this includes a bug I found in 2.03A in the mutation window, in that when I clicked on a mutation, it often went completely haywire and I got something quite different!!!!
Am in the process of downloading B now.
Do I uninstall/remove the A version first, then unzip B, or just unzip B on top of A? Anyone know the answer to this?
Thanks.

the one I got was not in a zip just an exe. so far 2.03a is working but did get 2.03b since at this time 2.03a is working I would just drop 2.03b into the same folder as 2.02 and make a short cut to your desk top.
As for the mutation window I understand som ehave had problems some have not. so I do not know if anyone is letting them know of this problem or not.
Since most of them go the Tracey's site I would hope some of the concerns here would be also asked there I myself have not been there to ask if you want go over to her site and sign up if your not already a good place to learn and also get new information at.

I may have to go back to the Apo mailing list as much as I really don't want too to many e-mails that basically say nothing yet one does miss the important ones though. :lachen001

if you have apo 2.03b then you can uninstall 2.02a ( delete to trash can )
if you like 2.03b then you don't need 2.02z
if you don't like 2.03a or 2.03b then get new 2.02z
if you don't like any of them then use 2.02
All version of apo can go into the same folder !

Explain Please
what is z doing out again, I thought they had merged into one program..
whats the low down on that Henry? :blowkiss:
bigH

Z was merged with 2.03a
some prople do not like 2.03a
so the programmer for Z made a new Z that don't time out now .
They came out at the same time - today .

I just grabbed both the new 2.03b and the non-expiry 2.02z-final...
Give me a little while to have a play with them to see that they are working (to my satisfaction) - then I'll upload them to the FracFan server and post the links, OK?

Sounds great T I know I've worked with 2.03b sure renders faster
Now is the guy that finalized 2.02z still working with Ronald and the others??

Apparently Peter is now working with Ronald and Piotr on the newer versions of Apophysis... but he was generous enough to unlock his Apo 2.02z final version for those who are still having rather large problems with the new 2.03 versions...

I'm LOST!!! :cries: I can't find Apo 2.02Z-final anywhere and don't know where to get it! It's not on that Sourceforge page linked at the top of this string.
I've got ver 2.03A which is fairly OK but with some problems with the mutation box, and I briefly tried 2.03B but that is completely no good for some reason - the mutation box is completely haywire for one thing!
I do like the layout and the facilities of 2.03A, but it is still rather unstable, so was wondering where to get 2.02Z-final from?

mmm interesting huh the only problem I seem to be having is on the slider bar under gradients it locks up apo everytime when sliding it. it appears to be worse in this version then 2.03a oh well it does unstick itself. It just takes a bit.

gosh darn it i did it again hit edit instead of quote but this is how I feel so unless there is another direct link to the z version lets leave Lances site out of this I just don't want anyone getting into the area of his site I had to get into...

OK - I've uploaded a copy of Apo 2.02z-final to my server...
http://www.woosie.net/apophysis/apophysis202z-final.exe
It is a self extracting zip file - you just download this file, then double click it and tell it where you want the Apophysis202z.exe file to extract to (your Apophysis directory is a good place... lol)
Enjoy!

Thanks a lot you guys! I'll see what happens now I have "zzzzz" version downloaded (I'm off to bed any minute, lol!).. Onlything is, do I need to delete 03A and B first, or what? This is all very confuzzling for my tired old brain! lol! And I like the layout and facilities on 03A definitely!

AnnaKirsten,
You do not have to remove 2.03a or 2.03b in order to run Apo 2.02z... confusing isn't it?
All you need to do is to place Apo 2.02z into your Apophysis directory/folder - then set up a shortcut to it on your desktop... then you can run it whenever you like...
Apo 2.02z includes a lot of the features in Apo 2.03a and 2.03b - it was the predecessor to them, and the developers liked those new functions and included them in the newest versions - so I think you'll like 2.02z just fine...
