OK - in response to a problem raised at my own forums, I've checked out (and edited where necessary) Piotr Borys's various scripts so that they will work nicely under Apophysis 2.02z, 2.03a, and 2.03b...
I have also done some quick and dirty editing to make versions that will run on single flames, rather than the whole batch...
These are some truly great scripts, and I think you may like the results they produce.
There is only one little problem with the Batch scripts, they will not keep the selected gradient intact - they will produce images with one of the preset gradients. This is no real problem, as you can change the gradients after the flames are produced, can't you? lol!
The Single scripts will keep the currently selected gradient intact...
Anyways... here's the zip file with all of the scripts fixed to work under the newer versions of Apophysis...

Enjoy!

Thanks T much appreciated Iknow the ones I like the most is called perfect spiral single flame it has all the old variations it in on the new variations Iknow myself I just uncheck them my own personal preference.
Neils Script is good just way to many triangles if he could cut that one down to no more then 5 that would be great. otherwise I find myself deleting over half of them..
Another thing we need to do is list how to use a script. So please correct me if I am wrong here.
In any version of Apo take this zip T has supplied for us to use drop it into your current script folder or simply make a new one to keep them seperate.
Go to script at the top click on edit and search for the script in your script folder, open it and click on the run button however most run immediately without having to do anything, now if you want to save that script as a favorite click again on Script you will see Favorites click on add search again to the one you want to use often and add it to your Managed Favorites.
I hope this helps a little of knowing have to use scripts.
Now writtings scripts is whole new ball game one of which I had no idea how to do. Plus one we may not want to get into at this point.

Carolyn,
I actually have a Perfect Spiral batch script floating about somewhere on my hard drive... if you are interested...
As for Neil's spiral script, if I have time tomorrow, I might take a look at it and see what I can do about reducing the number of transforms it produces... I know nothing about writing scripts either, but I seem to understand enough to edit them... lol!
As for using scripts, Lance's tutorials are a really good source of info for that... www.thefractalfarm.net - the tutorial links are on the right side of the main page... everything you ever wanted to know about how to use Apo, and a whole lot more besides!

Well... while I'm waiting for the parts for my new PC that I'm gonna build today... I had a looky at Neil's spiral script...
I have found the part where it sets the number of added triangles (currently 10) - and have fiddled with various numbers, and find that the best results are when you add 5 or more triangles.
Now, I usually start with 2 triangles/transforms - so adding 5 more with the script gives me 7 triangles to work with in the Editor window... can you deal with that many Carolyn? (This assumes that you start with 2 transforms also)

Carolyn,
Are you using the Mutation window? If so, in your Options - set the Maximum Mutation Transforms to the same as in your Max Number of Transforms (on the Random tab)
