Welcome !! :headbang:
I am so very pleased :bounce: to announce that as of now there is
a gathering spot on Innertraveler for all of us fractal lovers :blowkiss:
This is the place to talk about all fractal related subjects and
meet people with the same interest :worship:
Let's make this a good forum to visit
and I hope to see you here regularly.
This is InnerTraveler's Fractal Gallery (http://www.innertraveler.com/publicgallery/showgallery.php?si=&perpage=24&sort=2&cat=520)
With kind regards

Hey Hubbabub,
Gotta a question regarding fractal wares, I've got 2, 1 called fractal forge the other double fractal.
I Find FF the best of the 2 but was wondering how user/artists are getting such spectacular images from their softwares.
And what really puzzles me how does a person open a regular image file with a fractal generator or is this an intentional thing a fractal gen- doesn't do?
You know take a regular image like a bmp or jpg dog, bird, cat background and fractalize it?

Hi there
I have tested "Fractal Forge" < http://www.fractovia.org/uberto/ >, it produce nice images.
I have not tested "Double Fractal" < http://www.schulers.com/fractal/ >
It puzzles me also sometimes :)
I can only talk for myself, mostly I use the old method "trial and error".
I change one parameter (setting) at a time and look at the result.
When I'm are happy with the result and have saved my image I then
usually load up the image into my image editor and do some tweaking
and maybe add some effects.
Some fractal generators has the option to use layers in the same way
as Photoshop and PaintShop Pro do. Two of the generators that can
use layered fractals are UltraFractal (http://www.ultrafractal.com/) and ChaosPro (http://www.chaospro.de/).
So you can do some breathtaking fractals when you use layers.
I only know one fractal program that can import a "regular" image
into the program and put a fractal image on it.
That program is called XenoDream (http://www.xenodream.com/).
XenoDream is a fractal generator that produce amazing 3D fractals.

Btw.
I'm sorry it took so long time before I answered your message,
I have been working hard for 7 days so I have not had much free time.
