I have a question........

I have the free version of TG installed on my computer, and various plugins from the TG site, including Firmanent.

I don't seem to be able to access some of these plugins, and in particular Firmanent.

On reading the instructions, it doesn't actually tell you where to install to, i.e. TG itself, or somewhere in one of its folders.

I think somewhere I've got it wrong. It talks about accessing Firmanent via the plug-in in the Terrain screen. I dont' have a plug-in facility as such anywhere in TG. Should I make a Plug-in folder inside TG for all of this stuff, or is there something else I should have downloaded to make all this work?

Or, do these things only work with a registered version of TG?

Hi AnnaKirsten,

first: the plugins are working with the unregistered version of TG too - the restriction refers only to terrain-size and render quality.

second: unzip the plugins directly into the folder where the TG-program is.

DUH!!!!!!! :imslow: What I've been doing is installing stuff into TG inside my downloads folder instead of inside the TG program!!!! For some reason I thought I had installed it into the downloads section, which is very unusual in any case, but as I was just trying it out..... Hmmm..

So no wonder, when I've opened up TG, nothing new has appeared there!! :rofl:
