Hi,

this is a fantastic space here to meet in the internet. Many people with much of creativity in their veins. Now I wanna know if the friends who like modeling with differnet programs (like Cinema4D, 3ds Max, Lightwave, Modo, Silo, Maya, Carrara, Houdini and so on...) would be able to do a little challange here??! If there will be enough peoples to do so, I would try to manage it.

Please let me know!

HELLO MODELERS

maybe - the 4th or 6th
no. 2 next .
no. 5 .

I like the first or (third ( does the most ( hard's to learn ))) - they do the most .
Of course the more they do - longer to learn .

Whow! First big thx for all your feedback in this thread! I think we all can do some modeling here using the programs we have or can get. I have tried out a lot of modeling programs and when you are customised with one of them you will not have too much problems with the rest.

If you like we could start with a very simple project - maybe a chair in the front of a normal landscape or in a room. Then there would only be the light setup, the modeling of the chair and the texturing.

what do you think? :star_full

sound good . some Q.

landscape are hard to model - we can use ter or Bryce , Vue for this - yes ?

can we use Bryce - Vue - does it have to be a 3d program ?
if we can maybe more people well join in .

it has to be some thing we model right ?

are we going to do a work in progress or just post when we are done ?

are we going to post to this thread ?

Hi,

I think you can use every program with modeling functions. A wip would be nice using a new thread in this forum! For example: BigH will model a chair in his prefered program, so he started a thread here called 'Chair by BigH' and post your wip. The landscape hasn't to be modeled - this can be a terragen render or anything else. It's important that the chair is modeled! :floating:

... the picture can be uploaded by using imageshack (http://www.imageshack.us/) and linking it afterwards with your posting if you don't want to use your daily upload here.
