this is a little tip I picked up at another site and it WORKS!!
Speed up your library browsing in Poser, in 1 easy step!
Tired of that time lag, whilst searching through your library folders for that perfect sword or scantly clad outfit???
Easy to fix...just unistall Quick Time player from your machine.
If you really must have QT installed on your computer, then there is a workaround....
Delete (or better yet move it, just in case you need to reinstall it) the "Mac" plugin found in your Runtime>ImageIOPlugins folder. It's the one called ImageIO_Mac.mrw
This goes back to the legacy coding as the original Poser was ported to Mac's and used QT for display. You don't need it...but you will see a big difference in your library display.
I have to say that I have done this myself in P5 SR4.1 and the change is impressive. :judge:
