The 24 Hour Gap Between Uploading Images...

I have been asked this question many times, so I thought I post here what happens regarding uploading our pictures.

The timer on this site is set in such a way (and I don't think it can be changed by Admin) so that there has to be a clear 24 hours in between posting our daily allocations.

This means that if you are entitled to one upload per day, and you uploaded your last one at, say, 17.00 hours today, then you will be unable to upload tomorrow's allocation of one image until 17.01 hours tomorrow.

Same with 3 uploads (small annual subscription needed for this). Once your three have been uploaded, you have to wait 24 hours after the last one is uploaded before you can start your next day's uploads.

If this "facility" does get altered in the future, then we will put a new notice up accordingly. At the moment, it's just the way things are programmed into the package, so apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yep Yep thats how it works! :D I know though that some places around will say 1 in a day and allow it if its after midnight on the next day. But the 24 hour thing here is fine with me I just forget sometimes that if I posted at 3 yesterday I can't exactly remember when lol Oh well !

What I do is put the time I posted in the e-mail slot....don't use it or you will get spamed from e-mail address hunters...That way all I gotta do is look at the image and there is the time, as the time on server is goofy anyway...lol

Good idea Ron! Goofy time ain't real time, lol! So yes, that's a really cool way of doing it, and I agree about not putting any e-mail address there because of spammers! Oh yes!!!

You could just go to the last gallery that you uploaded to and click on the "1 day" link in the top right - that will narrow down the display to only the images posted there in the last 24 hours... if your images have gone from there, then you are pretty safe to upload again...

eg. I normally post to the Fractal gallery - so I would select that gallery and check the posts for only the last day ("1 day" link) - if there are none of my images there, then it's safe for me to upload more
