I know we are a team here with a lot of dynamic and emotion. I wanna see what you would like to model here (maybe in a wip thread).

a tree would be hard - and my 3d program all ready does some nice ones .

A chessfigure maybe, I don't know. I'm in the begining and don't know what is more easy to do.

A chess figure would be a good start because its a rotation body exept the knights... you could also build it up with boxmodelling but with a lathe object its much easier to do.

I've done a chess figure before, the whole set in fact (they all looked like eggs) but there's no reason not to do another one.
