Here is a little scen I've modelled using Cinema 4D. The figures are lathe-objects using a simple spline for the rotation.

Its not so easy to stimulate the people to use their 3D programs but we should keep on doing/ trying it. The possibilities someone have by using a 3d-package are enormous and the 3d artwork will be more and more a way to show things.

Ok, my chess figure 3 steps. I make this very basic, because I don't have much time at the moment.
