I've deleted cookies, logged out and logged back in to both the forum & gallery sections and yet I keep getting the message that I need to be logged in to view the gallery images. It's getting a bit fustrating after two days of trying to view the images.
Suggestions?

I understand your frustration completely
Maybe registration again under a different alias will work?
I suggest to try that and if you want to keep the alias you have right now, make it a little different.

Hope this works, if not get back to us :)

Have you tried clearing your cache as well?

If emptying your cache doesnt solve, try to use another browser, e.g. Netscape, Mozilla, Opera (I assume you are using iExplorer).

Cleared the cache several times and did another registration with the name Wes1 and I'm still having the same problem. And I use Opera 7. I'm at a loss as to what's happening as this is the first site I've had this problem.

There's definite browser compatibilty problems. I'm using Mozilla right now and can viiew the gallery images...but not when I use Opera (which is my preferred browser). Before the site crash I had no problems using Opera here and now the site is pretty much useless to me because I can't view the gallery images in my preferred browser. This is the only site I have this problem with.

I use Opera as my default browser.
And I have no problem with the InnerTravler site.
I use Opera 7.54
Maybe you have changed your settings in Opera.

Nope no changes in my browser or firewall settings. As it is right now I can't even stay logged in for very long at all.

Perhaps you could delete and reinstall your browser. I know you said you cleared your cookies, but it sounds to me like your browser is looking for innertraveler settings that existed before the crash and not recognizing some of our changed settings.
Again I apologize for this, but it sounds like the issue is with the settings in your browser.
Please let me know if re-inistalling your browser helps.
I have one other suggestion: register with a new identity and then, I can change it back to your original name. Email me once you've done this and let me know what name you selected: info@innertraveler.com

Delete all files on and offline and cookies, clear internet "history" too.
Look for cookies that may be 'hiding" in other temp folders.
This works good on Windows O/S machines, I do this often.
Also have you tried a disc scan and defragging harddrive?

I deleted cookies and all and it didn't help...I found out that I was using a defunct link that had changed and it couldn't find the right page because it no longer existed...Delete the LINK and then manually type the HOME address to the sight...Maybe this will help, I don't know but it sounds like anything at all that helps would be welcome..this is worth a try...http://www.innertraveler.com only..not any other page just incase those pages have changed since the time you Saved the bookmark...hope this helps

Hey DW,
Thats probably good advice too, I just wanted to suggest that something as drastic as un-installing and reinstalling their prefered browser might be un-necessary.
I never changed the bookmark I stored when IT was back up I clicked the stored link and IT.com was back, minus me and a whole lot other peoples stuff.
Speaking of the "Great Crash" at IT, does anyone know how/why it happened?
If thats not priveledged info?

I don't know all the in's and out's - thats for Glenn to know, but I do know it wasn't a crash. It had something to do with the (old) Site host, and Glenn had to change hosts, which is why the site was "Brand New" again, Glenn lost all his back up 's and that's why we all had to start again.
