a simple question to artists... sorry!

Hi,

I have a website, have webspace and wanna show some artists too on my site... if there is any interest, so post it here. If you have a special picture I could show on my german site, so let me know. If I upload something its with the name of the artist and with his e-Mail if he wants!

Thats a lovely idea. I have links on my page to other artist galleries and to here. If you wish to use any of my pics just pick one from my gallery. I like all my work and its hard to choose a favorite but I would be honored if you would put one on your site.

I will upload one image from each artist, but it would be very, very helpful, if everybody could mail me the name of the picture he wants to show out of his IT galery and his working e-Mail adress (if he/she likes). I would build up a Innertraveler Artist Galery. On the main side you can see the galery with thumbnails and from each thumb a link goes to the image in 150-200kb resolution.

Maybe the owner of websites could build up a little webring too. Than it would be nice, if I could have a avatar from witch I could link to your site...

I do not care what pic you chose from my images .
I like to many of them to chose one and it might not be one that you liked .
I will not list my email - you can get to much unwanted emails .

Robert we have had a webring before since our site is primary stationery with added free stuff for poser and fractals. Why don't you start one,:love: I like that idea much better lol

Infact on the images you have posted do you have a banner so we can link to your site?? Or do you want a link back.

Posting this a little on the late side because I wanted to do some work on my site and have a artist link page also.I think a I.T. webring would be excellent.As I feel the added exposure would be a pleasant bonus,I also enjoy looking everyones work. The thing I like best is that with everyone being located around the globe, and differences in language...art speaks a universal dialect.anyways my friend... my images are offered to your project and my site address is: http://www.freewebs.com/whisperedtalesstudio/
Please have a pop up stopper on your pc,I'm told they are a nuisance without one (it was either geocity which I didnt like or this one...unless some has a suggestion for a free place?) in the next few days it will be completed, I'm putting off my uploading until this is finished once and for all :-) I'll have a artist link page there and will make sure all I see in this forum will go there also(I'll post a new thread in a day or so to make sure those still want to take part)

Robert, I think this is all a really great idea! I love what you're doing with our images too, and the whole concept of showing an IT gallery, and also the facility for exchanging links is also excellent.

I have two difficulties.

One is, I cannot pick out one single image from my gallery that I like over and above all the rest (ok there are some I'm not so keen on but that's inevitable), so, if you would like to pick one and include it (when you have the time), I feel I can trust your judgment to pick something that perhaps represents the best of my artwork, and would feel most honoured. If you do this, could you also put a link back to both IT and also my own website which contains some growing galleries of photography as well, www.annakirstendigitalart.com ?

The other difficulty is that the hosting site also produces the software for my personal site, and it makes it virtually impossible for me to have more than one or two banners. Even to do the one banner I have to IT took me a load of time to work out how to do it! There are certain pages on the site that it's not even possible to have a banner on - or even a link!! This means that my links page will have to consist of just links and short descriptions, but no actual banners. However, I will start to put some more links in there, yours included..

Question to anybody.. Is there anyone here who understands Coppermine? There's loads of questions I have about it, but I haven't a clue how to get started with it as I don't even know what they're talking about half the time! This strikes me as exactly the sort of site I'd like to have though if someone could help me with it?
