My First Art Exhibit

Hi everyone

I recieved a call the other day from two of the members of the group I started called The Digital Fine Arts Society of Thunder Bay - DFASTB, anyways they told me they couldn't tell me over the phone what the great news was. So they dropped by to tell me the local Art and History Museum wants to give the group a 4 month exibition space for our digital art.

This is exciting news for me as this will be the first time I have publicy displayed my artwork ( other then the internet ) and we are allowed to sell images aswell and do not have to pay the museum any commisions at all.


Now I gotta work on some new images BIG BIG ones and buy some frames!

Wow, that is absolutely astoundingly wonderfu news! How exciting for you, I can almost feel it myself!

And how cool is it that a museum is wanting to display diginal art?? Times are really changing, we're becoming a new world. Next thing you know they'll figure out a way to display digital art on actual digital panels - museums filled with lcd-type screens all displaying digital art!

Superb news!!!!! It's about time that digital art becomes more recognized as a medium. Small suggestion as I'm doing it for some of my artwork for a juried exibition... take the work to Staples. They do a tremendous job on blowing up without any quality lost on the image.. :)
