I finally figured out which of my sites I could 'host' some files for free use. The only request I have and it's included in the read me file, is please give 'credit' :) and have fun with them...
Here is an image of the atmospheres:

Thanks pat but what I would really like is for you or others to post tutorials on EXACTLY how we as novices can make and save and do things like this on our own. :)

I've found that following a tutorial still will not give you the same type of sky. It would have to have the exact same terrain, surface and settings ...
I've found that in the beginning I used others things and they just didn't look the same on my stuff. So I began a slow process of building up both surfaces and atmospheres and saving them. When you save you can always go back, reuse on the same terrain and still have a similar sky, but with some adjustments in the colors etc you get a diffeent look on the same terrain.
When I made that zip file I stated in the Read me text that the size of the terrain for all of those is 1025. Adjustments would then have to be made if someone is using the unregistered version ... etc.
That first sky, the desert/beach one, I did following a tutorial, and it looked so wonky I went to town on the settings and adjusted right and left, all the colors are so different from what i originally started at, yet the overall effect was good...
So basically the best tutorial is to play... see what looks good and follow that inner eye and see what it sees... or envisions. :)

Thanks Pat, I'll love to have a look at your files!
I wish everyone to try and fiddle a lot with those settings, to create own personal skyscapes, to customize, invent and renew (...am I sounding like a commercial? :) ).
Yes one's best tutorial is one own hands and eyes. Still sometimes we do need examples from the masters to get the idea on why and how some things have to be done.
Peace,
