You get up to 50MB storage there, and we are told just ask if we need more. Uploads are to be in .zip format. There must be no spaces and no punctuation marks in file names. (If you're uploading 3D stuff, I think the criteria may be a little different.)
OK, I wrote all this out as I did some uploading today, so the examples given are what I was doing at the time, lol!
Instructions for upload in Poserhome
1. Go to Forums, click on Free Stuff Thumbnails. Select Post New Topic (at top of that forum). Enter title of your upload, in my case, 5 Magic Pool Scenes Bundle. (This bit is only for your file info, and is not the message that will be shown the public, it is purely for you to upload your thumb of your image/s.)
Next write your title again inside the message box, then click on IMG (seen down below the box) and ensure the cursor is after the IMG. Now go below the message box to Select Image file to attach. Click on Browse and select your thumb. (Needs to be a jpeg). Click on submit. When file loads, keep this page open as you will need it again.
2. In new window, go to User Menu on left of screen. Select Free-Stuff Items, then select the part of this area you want, i.e. Background Scenes, or PSP/PSD Tubes, or whatever you want. Select Browse and upload the zip folder. Now in the large description area, you can say all you want to say about your files up to 512 characters.
Now go to the next box down, short description. If your initial description was less than 150 characters, you can leave the Autogenerate box ticked. If not, then this needs to be unchecked, which will enable you to write a short description in it.
Next you may insert a licence for use. This will depend on how you want your Freebies to be used. You have a mazimum of 512 characters for this.
Here's my licence for pictures as an example..
LICENCE.
These Pictures are created by and © AnnaKirsten. They are not to be
distributed in any form whatsoever or claimed as your own
original work.
You may use the pictures for non-commercial purposes only. You
may alter them, changing their appearance and colours as you wish
but the material remains the property of AnnaKirsten.
It is not a requirement, but mention of my name in connection
with the use of these pictures would be very much appreciated, and
considered as a courtesy for their free use.

Now in th enext box put the name of your file - 5 Magic Pool Scenes (jpeg), for example.
Next type in zip folder in the box where it says File Version.
File Author box - yourself
File bos, copy the name of the zip folder you have uploaded as shown in the area where you browsed and uploaded it. (mine is 5MagicPoolScene1000x868.zip)
Homepage Screenshot: You need to go to your uploaded thumb, right click on it, select Properties and select and copy the full url there (make sure you scroll down slightly as it is selected to ensure it finishes with .jpeg), then go to your upload page again and paste that into this box.
Forget the Icon (don't know anything about that)!
Check your details thoroughly, then hit Submit.
(At the moment they are not on auto-upload and this is because Gellenbeg wants to check that there aren't mistakes in the process, as so many people were experiencing problems. He will complete the upload process when he gets home from work (bummer) but hopefully will revert to autoupload again soon!

Once your files are uploaded ready for use, you'll need to go into Freebies at IT, ensure you put yourself as the Manufacturer, put in the name of your entry, add a moderately sized image so that when Supersize is clicked under the thumb that shows, it will open in a new window enlarged.
In the description box put your description and this is where you must also put your links to your downloads... This is where it gets slightly tricky...
You need the Poserhome Downloads page open, left of screen. Next, click on the Title of your upload that you want to link to, and this takes you to the main page for this particular download. Now copy the url address at the top of your browser, and this will be the link you need to put into your IT Freebies Description area. (BTW this is where you can see how many people have downloaded your stuff! You can also update your submission if you see something wrong - again, when I tried that the first time, it simply duplicated itself, which is when Gellenberg took it off automatic upload so that he could "catch things like this as they happened"! I don't know yet whether this will be rectified.)
Note: I have discovered something new now at Poserhome today (at the time of writing this). He has opened the facility for us to upload a larger image than just the thumbnail! So just as in IT Freebies, it's now possible to click on the thumbnail on the page I've just taken you to - which is where people can leave a comment and also download from, and see the bigger picture. (This is something I asked him about a couple of days ago, as before, it would just go nowhere!) You know really, he is very obliging, but just a little slow sometimes! Also he did intend the site to be purely for 3D! So he is being extra obliging to the likes of us!
I hope this all works out OK for you without problems, and that these instructions will be of help!
