Hi Everyone

Here's a little story thats 100% True. I know its true you see cause it happened to me.

" once in a while love gives us a fairy tale ... "

About 8 years ago I was living with my mom after getting a divorce from my ex-wife. It was Nov and my mom wanted to get me outta the house and took out for supper with my brother and his girlfriend. At the time I was depressed a little cause this would be the 2nd Christmas in a row that I would be alone.

When we got to the new restaurant I noticed the hostess had a great personality and a great smile but I didn't say a word to her. She brought us to our table and I accidently dropped my fork and she picked it up and brought me a new one. We finished supper and then left for home.

That night I was on a Chat thing talking to some friends from all over the world and I said I was leaving for the night and went looking for some local people to chat too. I came across a chat room called " 30,40,50 Canada " and I entered the room and started chatting to a lady that called herself Kat123. She realized I was from the same city and said that among the 25 or so regulars that chat in this room there were 12 of them that met for coffee sometimes twice a week. The guy that started the channel came in and his nick was DOK, well DOK introduced himself and said he would pick me up on Sunday night so I could meet the rest of the locals. This all happened on Saturday night.

Sunday morning I was in the channel and got talking to another lady who called herself Smurf and turns out she is DOK's daughter. I asked if she was going to the coffee greet that night and she said she couldn't cause she had the flu and wasn't feeling that great. So I said well maybe another time I'd get to meet her in person.

Sunday night DOK comes to pick me up and we head out to the coffee meeting place. We got there for 7 pm and it ends up DOK's daughter Smurf showed up anyway half an hour later.

Guess who it was?????

Yes the Hostess from the restaurant!! The one with the great smile and personality!!

We hit if off by insulting each other for the first hour or so. We both have very sarcastic senses of humour. Then after everyone left we were still there talking. She gave me a ride home and we talked and talked. Then I went into the house and we got online and talked and talked. Then I phoned her and we talked even more!

She spent Christmas Eve with my family and I spent Christmas Day with her family. A few months later we moved in together and bought a house soon after that.

Here favourite band is LoneStar and her favourite song by them is called Amazed. I took her to a concert and part way thru the singer of the band called us down to the stage she had no idea what was going on. Then he said to Lisa that Randy ( me , SnowDog ) has a question I wanted to ask her and he used the lyrics from the Amazed song

" Randy wants to spend the rest of his life With you by his side "

He started singing the song and we waltzed in front of about 1,500 people and after the song he asked her what her answer was and she screamed yes.

This took her all by surprise of course , a friend of mine helped me set it all up.

This lady has more personality then any 10 people I know.

Now 8 years later we have a 30 month old beautiful baby boy named Rory Gabriel.

So sometimes when your not even looking or thinking that anything nice is gonna happen to you ...

What a lovely story Randy! Its so true that life brings you together with people you were destined to be with. I believe that with all my heart.

When I was about 18 My friend and I went to a fortune teller just for some fun. She said to me that I would get married when i was 30 and the man I would marry had the initials wdw I just laughed. But I never forgot that. For years I dated had boyfirends and even was engaged at one point but it just never worked out.

Then I went to work for a local florist. I had been there almost 2 years when they hired this guy as a new delivery driver. At first I just ignored him but he kept talking to me. Asking me out and I was not about to date him because he was older and I knew he was married.

Finally one day he called me on phone and said.. I just got my divorce papers now will you go out with me?... Thinking the only way I could get rid of him was to date him once, then he wouldn't like me and I could go on with my life. Little did I know 1 date would be all it took for me to fall madley in love with him. We went out and when he brought me home he asked me to marry him.. He didn't kiss me nothing just asked me and said you have 3 days to answer me.

3 days later I said yes and we got married 7 months after that. Okay thats not unusual the unusual parts of this are.. His initials are wdw and... He knew my father for years before I ever met him. They were friends. Well that was 30 years ago, this oct will be our 29th anniversary... And they said it wouldn't last! lol
