Here are two programs that let you draw your model instead of making them using ( box , circle , so on .) !
They both have demo version .
Check the sites for more info .

I have used Curvy3d for a while - lots of fun .

http://www.curvy3d.com/download.html

This is new - to me any way .
Testing it now .

Thx Henry for this links - maybe these programs are another way to get into the 3d-world... sketch-up is similar to use and you can get a complex building with a few line drawings and extrudings as well.

That is not cheap, have you tried it out bigH?

All I could manage with it is amputating that Rhino's leg.:lachen001

Curvy is fun but I can make only junk-yard models with it, probably takes some learning but I am not sure it is worth the effort.

Thanks for the info anyway:)

I have made the whole rhino - I think I used 8 parts - look good - I like being able to just draw a model . Which these program's do very well . To me they are not for house's or things of that type .
Both will take time to learn - as with any thing . Modeling is not easy . Thats why people buy them .
I think Curvy3d does more but is harder to learn . But is easer to make simple thing like a vise or a candlestick holder , thing in this nature . Cartooning is a lot of fun with it . Its fun to use once you catch on - have seen very nice models made with it .
Thay both are a lot of fun .
They both do what they do well - they are diff. in their apporch to modeling .

I think they both cost to much . They should be in the $30 to $50 range .
I know they would not agree .:)

Lil.

The models can be used in any program that can use .OBJ files .
Of course you can convert them to other formats .
I have test the models in DazStudio - Bryce - Vue - 3d Max and others .
So yes you can .
