Voting Site Wide Challenge [Archive]

Please read the instructions carefully :)

Open the site wide challenge gallery - which you can find Here (http://www.innertraveler.com/publicgallery/showgallery.php?cat=608) and decide which 3 images from those displayed that you think best fits or depicts the theme - which was "A World of Colour". Make a note of the 3 images (and artists names) you find most appealing. When you have done that select the 3 images/artists from the list in the poll and then click the vote button.

In the event of a tie for 1st place a new poll will be conducted to find an outright winner. The winner will recieve a years subscription to the site which is being paid for by a sponsor :)

Please note that Artists are not allowed to vote for their own image. Each member may only vote one time.

Boy all I gotta say is I had the hardest time deciding which ones to vote for!! I loved them all!! So many beautiful art works...

I don't know what I had in mind for A World of Colour but There were some really outstanding ones... greebo's lilies were spectacular and sure showed the world of mother nature at her best and most colorful, same with Engels violets.... The terragen pics of bigH RobertS and bebopdlx were spectacular showing the earth in a glory of colors!! And the fractals! My gosh so many of them showing color and even worlds in color! I was truely amazed! 73 pics to choose from! I sure wish I could have voted for each and everyone!!

Amazing and outstanding work everyone!! You all deserve to win!! :)

There is some missing and why is some removing their creations?? The one I liked was a floral one and its gone. :mad:

Please do not delete any of your creations...... who cares how long the list is.!!! That was the idea that everyone could participate.:rolleyes:

Okay I voted I've never seen such gorgeous creations awesome and Bravo to all who participated.

However in all fairness I will not suggest who you should vote for, it should be your own likes how you think the image fits into the challenge theme.... Good Luck Everyone

Oh Im not suggesting! I just thought those were so good in their categorys, and who I voted for is my own decision and may or may not be any of those :D Besides Im a yote I like to confuzzle people and i never tell who I voted for!! :D

Really, I've had hard times in choosing. Personally I went for the more colourful, and possibly original. Actually, fractals were a bit favoured for the usual gorgeousness of their gamma, but I tried and go with three images done with three different mediums (or a mix of mediums).

It has been bought to my attention that some members here have more than one user name and are using their 2nd user name to vote for images entered into the challange under their 1st user name - this is also not allowed and any such votes will be discounted!

Had a terrible time picking through all the wonderful entries. It was really tough because you had to concider so many styles.
I made my picks....GOOD LUCK to everyone!
This was a FUN challenge.

Boy am I glad you brought this out Engel! I was going to write you a note and question some of it. It just seemed to me rather strange voting when you look at 73 Awesome pieces of work .. Why do people think they have to cheat? I could have asked about 20 people who come in here just to follow my work and my galleries and belong to have voted for me but that would have been wrong to. Its really sad when someone thinks they have to cheat just to win. If you can't win on your own talent well.....

I am amazed at this. I didn't think it even had to be said that you couldn't vote for your own :( but to suggest that some people would go further to make them win or their picture popular is very sad. :( :(

and if you look at the very first post in this thread you will notice it says ""Please note that Artists are not allowed to vote for their own image. Each member may only vote one time."" can't get more simple than that..

Hello. I haven't had time to come on here much recently so I was just wondering if the challenge was still open for voting. If so, could someone please point me in the direction of the rules list. I clicked on the link to take me to the gallery but cannot find a link for the rules. Please please help me.

Just want to say as many others allready have! As I have viewed daily for the most part all of your work and the entrys are and all are Spectacular in creativity,Design Lighting and anything else I have left out for which my art is not worthy! at this point, were workin on it. Congrats to all of you as I learn a great deal from you Especially Wile1,Ron096 and Classylady, AnnaKirsten incredible. In hopes someday ta catch up with Tatayne and Dorianno Man what stuff they create Aye! I've voted now :) There were so many wonderful entries I found it difficult. The reason I asked for the rules is because I wasn't sure if I was allowed to vote as I didn't enter the challenge. I thought that I had read somewhere that if you hadn't entered you couldn't vote... perhaps thats just me having a blond moment :) Good luck everyone :)
No problem :) One rule we normally try to "enforce" is that if you entered you vote - common courtesy :) Glad you finally sorted it and made your votes :)
