This is Attack, my ex-girlfriends German shepheard that had to go much to early. He had been sick for a while and she finally had to let go. Now he is not suffrering any more and he is in doggie heaven.
Attack was a great personality with not a bad bone in his body. Rest in peace Attack.

Oh I'm so sorry to read of your sad loss, Goran! I know how awful an experience this is - before I had cats (and my 16 1/2 year old black one had to let go last August) I had German Shepherds, many years ago now. They are to me, the most wonderful companion anyone could wish for!

Allow yourself time to grieve, you'll need to do that, and it's perfectly normal.

Sorry to hear about the loss. I myself lost my baby of 16 years come a year ago in September. She showed no signs of illness at all til that ealy morning when she was running from one room to the other so she could go outside and patrol...LOL

It was like a movie when the person gets shot...she just went flying backwards and landed on the floor, the vet really didn't want to be bothered at 4 in the morning and told me to just wait until 8 when they opened since she was probably just having a seizure and would be better by then.

Boy was he wrong, withing the half hour she just flushed all out and it was a traumatic thing for my daughters...even if they are not little anymore they had her around for half their lives. I called him back and told him it was now certainly an emergency and he needed to meet me at the center, which he still didn't like it but he did. While there he examined her and told me that it was indeed strange that no symptoms arose but she had kidney failure and nothing could be done since essentially what we were looking at was some of her insides that disintegrated.

Solution....we had to put her down. He was shocked that I agreed, he just didn't know that we didn't want her to suffer anymore and IF surgery would make that happen then o fo it but it wasn't to be since the surgery would only give her a month or two more--with pain--if that long.

About a month ago one of my cats got out (inside kitties never go out because of idiot rat poisoning neighbors) and we haven't found him at all. He was so scared he wouldn't come to any of us then the fireworks started and he must have vamoosed to the moon cause he isn't around here anymore.

This is an image of almost all my babies. Patches is the one missing and Kira is the one that died. I have since gotten 2 pups, both black but the boy has some reddishbrown markings...no pics yet for the camera kaput and ruined the film...LOL LIFE!!!!

The newbies are lab/shepard, not at all the med sized I wanted for I can saddle them as horses real soon...they will be a year old in September this year (a sign we needed to have them since they were born the day Kira died)

It does get easier we at least are left our memories.

This is so strange but i just got a notification that a SethAutumn had replied and that the post was locked...what is going on here? Was it a spam or a fluke?:(

I also forgot to tell all that my orange citty---Patches after being on the MIA list since before July 4th came back home about 4 days ago....very scrawny and with a parasite from the fleas he got while gone but alive and trying to get better.

It was span (poker game) (and also advert) and this is not allowed.

I am sory for your lost too.

rest in peace Kira and Attack

Thanks, some people just don't ever know when to stop and think.

Our babies will be with us forever.
