For a Friend

Just thought I'd kick this off:

I had a friend in high school who was a teacher there. He tought American Sign Language, only one of two teachers in the school who did it. He died during the last couple of weeks of summer vacation before I started college. It's been kinda hard, then again, I've moved on. It's what he would have wanted, even though he never said anything about it.

He was a great person and had a profound impact on many others as well.
