Hi. I'm hoping someone can assist me with my problem. I was using the text option in psp7 when I encountered a problem. I was attempting to use a dingbat image and had scaled the font size to 300 when it froze up on me. Now, whenever I go into the text option, it automatically defaults to that particular font at that size and freezes up. I get the following error alert:

"the instruction at 0x007ee2dc referenced memory at 0x0000000e. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program or click CANCEL to debug the program."

It does not matter which option I select, the result is the same, which is that the program exits and closes. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the program, to no effect. Does anyone know how this can be resolved?

I appreciate your assistance :0mfg:

If you haven't already done so, you might try posting your question here:

http://pspug.org/

I googled "0x007ee2dc" and found a link to a question someone posed a couple of years ago relating to a very similar problem involving using fonts in PSP7. Unfortunately the link to the "solution" requires you to be a registered user of that site.

Also, someone else had a somewhat similar "memory cannot be read" problem:

they talk about a “reset” option – see:

Don't know if this will help, but . . . .

Pheww! I'm glad that was solved! I must admit I don't think I'd have known where to start with it! :wow:
