Hi,

I've thought about some training possibilities here and have found out that its not useful to build up a simple chair, a lamp, a bottle or anything else   :sprint:

At the moment there are only a few persons here to take part building/ training their modelling skills. Now I wanna set a theme and everybody can use his personal modelling/ transforming/ creating program.

Here is our first aim:

called 'the death isle' (die Toteninsel) by Arnold Böcklin. A simple composition with a great background. First I wanna now if here is anyone who wants to do this training with me together.
I would post my step-by-step to achieve this if there is enough interest.

This is the artist:

Ok - lets start forming the terrain. Modelling work will follow. The little island isn't hard to do.

So what you're asking is for us to model our island in our own programs or something else?

Yeah! I think thats a very fine training to imitate an old artwork. I have painted Böcklins 'death isle' the first time at the age of 15 years using pastels and later usig Airbrush. This training is fine to improve your skills. Here are only very easy models but the boat with the death on board. The color mood could be done making the postwork
