Actually our autumn doesn't begin til around mid october here. Thats when the colors really come on.. Its still very nice and green here and its sept. will be warm for a few more weeks so colors don't start showing til late in sept or 1sto of oct. but if I can grab the cam away from the kid I'll try.

would love to be in but autumn in sardinia is not the season one imagines...it is still pretty warm more like summer and leaves are green.

Autumn colours dont have to be reds and golds. Do you have trees or bushes with fruits and berries? Acorns, chestnuts? The golden colours of Harvest?

Belgium weather is rainy and cold, leaves change from colour and start to fall already.
but it can be as Engel47 says ...fruits and berries? Acorns, chestnuts? The golden colours of Harvest?

Well I do have a chestnut tree out front, but its not doing much this year.. bad year, not enough rain, we are in mild drought conditions here so things aren't fruitful this year.

I suppose I could take a pic of the dying bloomson the mimosa tree or god for bid that timothy grass that makes me sneeze and itch!! :D

Well, you know how we are. We whine every time there is a new challenge. We whine about Bryce and Poser and Vue. Now we whine about the photo challenge, It just means we're really really happy that there is a challenge. Ha ha ha ha. I decided that fall color is anything that is alive during the fall. That leaves the options wide open and leaves plenty of room for intrepretation and imagination!

Well.. now they are telling us here.. because of the dry year we have had.. that fall will be early. Probably our peak colors if there is any will be by the 1st of october instead of nearer to the end. Things starting to change here now but drying up more than getting color.
