It is with much sadness that I announce that our beloved Khan was finally put to sleep on Thursday the 25th October 2007, aged 10yrs and 7 months. He drew his last breath at 17:20 CET.
Khan had been diagnosed back in July with several complaints, chief amongst them was wobblers disease and congestive cardiomyopathy. It was the wobblers that got him in the end as his back legs had been getting weaker and weaker in the last week or two until on wednesday 24th he became paralysed and was no longer able to walk at all. We called in the vet and after lenghthy discussions together we came to the conclusion that having him put to sleep was the kindest thing we could do for him.
Khan died peacefully at home, with his head on his "dad's" foot.
He will be soreley missed by both his human companions and by duchess.
