Another good tutorial Mannie, and of course you can change the light colour depending on the time of day you want to simulate and perhaps add more than one light with narrower beams with a light gel to simulate shadows. I also prefer to use the quadratic spotlight as the fall-off seems more natural.

This is a very good tutorial to demonstrate the use of lights to add ambience to a scene Bravo Mannie :)
