Mannie, you don't need actual rain. Some of your previous works were dark and cloudy, and said "rain" or storms without the water. My guess is that your entry will be awesome!
I do have rain in my little version of Vue (have no idea where it came from) It rarely looks like rain....more like weak snow or a dirty screen. Maybe I can make my own in PSP and put it on a sphere or something. Maybe it's possible to make tiny dots in the terrain room and somehow use that????

yes i think i saw the rain in the materials. Indeed you don't need rain but it would be nice if it is the challenge

All versions of Vue from 5 esprit have a rain material that you can use with cylinders so there should be no need to postwork for rain and in fact postwork other than colour saturation, contrast, brightness and frame would disqualify. Check your Vue materials you should find both rain and snow materials, I will look to see if I can find a tutorial somewhere and provide a link

Good luck to all, Rob :)

Rob, I wasn't talking about postwork in PSP. I thought I could create some kind of "dot thing" on a transparent background and use it on an alpha plane for rain, or try and import it into the material room (not sure if this is possible in Vue5 Easel) You know me. I'm always trying to get the absolute most out of my little program without postwork.

Miriah, I am constanly amazed at how much you can produce with this early version of Vue, all your images deserve a prize in my book
