Hi all
Hope everybody is ok
I have a question about Bryce objects

I have downloaded an LWO file
Now Bryce 6.1 didn't want to load and said that an error had ocurred
A dear friend om me changed them into obj
Now I have the problem that the mtl files are still from the LWO and Bryce doesn't see them
How do I get the mtl on the object without having to do it manually???

Please let me know

I believe you have to put the mtl file in a folder with the object file...I usually zip them up together then extract them into the content folder...hope this helps...

so you can load the obj file right
then Bryce wants to know where the texture for it is - does B. ask you for it ?
if you tell Bryce where it is will B. load it ?
Robin is right they should to be in the same folder but don't have to be .

Yep, I can load the obj, but Bryce doesn't ask me where the textures are
I have put both files in the same folder and only when I click "load object" I can see the map with the textures, but after it's gone and can't load
Mabye it's a corrupt file

try naming a folder the same or try ( maps) as the model and put the texture in it - thats how DS does it for Bryce
are you sure you have the textures for the model ?
some programs when they convert model can't or don't save textures that Bryce will use .

It was converted with c4d
Maybe it's the problem between those 2
I think that is the problem like you said Henry

Maybe it's an idea to load the obj into daz 2.3
If my memory is correct, there were jpg textures as well
Make the scene in daz and then load it into bryce
I hope that it will save then as obp
