Create your own color maps (.MAP) for Chaoscope

Chaoscope use the same format for the color maps/gradients that
the old fractal program "FracTint" used/created.

Automatic Fractal Map Generator
http://members.tripod.com/~softwork/map/

Fractint Map Maker
http://www.hiddendimension.com/futils.html

FIntMap
http://www.nahee.com/Software/FIntMap_1-31.zip

And here at TerraNuts you can get ahold of a bunch of color maps
http://terranuts.com/downloads/index.php?category=7

And if you have color maps/gradient files for UltraFractal and want to use
them in Chaoscape, then install the lates beta version for Apophysis v2.0.
Apophysis can convert UGR files into MAP files and vice versa
("Save as Map file..." on the pop-up menu in the Gradient editor)
http://www.apophysis.org/

Btw.
Many other fractal programs can read/use and save in the MAP file format
