Okay, I made this in Jasc Animation Shop, don't know yet if Bryce lets you animate within the Bryce program. So, this one was a test to see how the different effects and transitions would "take".

They are both Bryce/Voc images, first one is called "Vampire Island", into second one which is called "Far Away Ocean".

Bryce will let you make animation but not the transitions you have.. this can be added with any number of different programs... Excellent ideas though.. you're on top of your game now that's for sure...DW

Its beautiful and well done animation. I know nothing of bryce animation. I haven't used Bryce at all in some time. I have used Jasc though. But then again not much or often. But I'd like to see more animation, unfortunetly some of it in the galleries don't load for me. :(

When you say your animations won't load for you in the galleries, do you know why? What does it say when you try to upload? What is the file type? Is it saved as a gif. or wmv. file type? :)

Bryce animator is alot to much to handle as is the animator in vue i use poser for my annimations it gives you the chance to alter little things at the same time the main animation is running. Will try something simular as to what you have done in poser would like to see if it can be done there. Well done with the animation

Animations are not something I have tried yet - sure looks good though. Perhaps one day I will give it a whirl and see what I can do. Gonna need a lot of advise though *LOL* :bounce:

I really like the concept and am already thinking of ideas to use such a technique, I am aware that Bryce has animation capabilities but as a previous respondent said, not this type of animation. Having only used Bryce for about 5 weeks now between work and other domestics - lol, I am still finding new things in Bryce without attempting to use the animation features, however I really like this idea and would love to know more about it, Great concept with lots of exploitation capabilities ahead :)

Nice start, especially the second, longer one. I think what looks best at this point is your eye for colour and colour changes. I don't know your background on doing these but a good basic to intermediate book on animation in general is: The Animation Book, by Kit Laybourne, try the library rather than buying as there is a lot you'd not really want to know at this point! Also for begining character animation: The Animator's Wookbook by Tony White is fairly cool.
Looking forward to your next posts - thanks for the link, tim

Nice animation you've made!!
I've made one in Bryce a long time ago, just for fun. Than I transferred it in Paint shop pro Animation shop. There you can reduce the size and save it as gif.

It's a nice looking animation the colors and transitions are quite appealing --I dont use Bryce so I cant answer your questions -- half of my work is either modified edited images in ZBrush then "Gif'd" in ULEAD --or Amorphium animations (version 3) animated fully in the software !

Very nicely done work, Bryce can be a pain on the neck when it comes to animation, I have Bryce but never had the chance to play with it, I mostly use Poser for my work.

I do not have Bryce, but do have PSP. I've never done an animation, however. This really is very good. I like the page turning effect very much. Well done IMO.

Well SBH, you could add a transition or two and combine a few of these together.. Are you on a Mac?? if you were i would recommend VTracks for compositing your animations and even add a audio track.. Saves as Quicktime also...I would like to see a few of these you have done all together into one.. Maybe if you like we could collaborate on something and i could help edit in some stuff that might be eypopping and all f that good stuff...lol... YOU ARE MY FRIEND, after all.....I would love to try some of these out and send you the copy to post... If you would permit me I could D/L them here and send you a little something for approval and then we shall see just what additions we can come up with.... start picking out some music, kiddo...lol...DW

And, heck YES!! I would absolutely LOVE to collaborate on something with you, I think it would be most definitely awesome!! Please "send" something away!! skybluehope@yahoo.com

email of preference...

Any ideas for music, something we both can like? :)

Love,

Reg

I am thinking of a collaborative project and definitely would like permission to use some of your works and add some of these transitions and special effects using Artmatic Pro and Vtracks (both from U&I Software) to illustrate my meaning in previous parts of this thread... I will give you the list of the pictures I found to excite my old eyeballs and believe it will be pleasant for the rst of the folks here also... If you see anything else you want to showcase let me know and I will include it also... As I go about making MY parts I will keep you updated with some shorts of the stuff I intend to make with this... AND... Your choice of John's Song was BRILLIANT... I will try it as a constant all through the animation series... I have never tried a project this big so we will have to work it out as we g o but I have explored what I have here to offer in the way of programs and a HUGE library of transitions and special effects... What do you think about putting the words of the song Scrolling into the sky??? Your on a PC, SBH??? I have a cable connection and some programs so we can network this project on P2P...if your interested that is...I want your full potential to show just as a yardstick for further projects...it would be an honor to work with such a nice person and I love your work so what do you think?? You wanted to hear my idea, well, that about covers it though I dare say it will be more work than I just made it sound like...

ALSO, if you want to make anything that is John Lennon-ish(??) as far as an animation I will try that as a base for the visual part of it

The list of files I am considering are these:

Fishnet_Crater_Explosion_II.jpg
Fishnet_Orange_Eruption.jpg
Rainbow_Jungle_II.jpg
Gold_Swirl_Canyon.jpg
Fishnet_Rainbow_Mountain.jpg
Sterling_Vase.jpg
SongWords.rtfd
Animation49.gif
Animation42.gif
Alien_Ship_Take_Off_II.jpg
JohnLennonIDon_tBelieveInBeatle
Black_Hole_Blue.jpg

If you can think of any others to include that will work for me.. I'm just going to have to match the transitions, effects and times the individual pictures are shown with the length of the song.. that's all controllable in VTracks so not too difficult but it may be time consuming.... If you give the go ahead on these files I will start tonight or early in the morning tomorrow....

See kiddo, I wouldn't leave ya hangin'...lol...Your friend, DW

Okay, and WOW, sounds good to me so far!! I think I'm starting to visualize what you might have in mind. So go ahead and "play", you have my permission to use anything you want of mine, just let me know what and when I have to do!! There are other songs, because some people are unfortunately, easily offended, and those Lennon lyrics are particularly "heavy", know what I mean? ;) I would use it, but some people might take the lyrics too literally, and I don't believe Lennon was being "literal" in that song.

Anyhow, just let me know what my next step has to be. And as far as the words scrolling into the sky, excellent idea!! Trying to think how I can manage that one... hmmmmmm ;) I'm sure there's a way!!

Love,

Reg

Boris Graffiti in Adobe After Effects...I think that will do itjust composite the layer in on top with enough density to see and read but not enough to knock out the background animation and the images contained.. It is going to all be equally important to see as well as hear...

Well, I'd love to, except I can't! lol

The only thing "Adobe" I have (that I am aware of), is Adobe reader, to read a Bryce manual...

;)

Any other ideas? Unless that's something you intended to do... :)

PS: Have you been to any of my WC forums yet? I have five total there, and even though I had my own banners in place already, Pascale (aka tibet2004uk), graciously made me these animated banners for all of the forums.

IF, you especially check the banner for my Sky's Poetry forum, she took a short poem of mine called "Sky Blue Hope", and made it animated in text within the banner, totally cool, excellently done!!

So, you should check that one out, and maybe, I/we can ask her for the scrolling text thingy you were talking about.

I know I posted that poetry banner in a thread on here to show what a great job she did also, but can't remember what thread it's in.. ;)

Love,

Reg

PSS!:

Okay, I'll just post that banner here again. Be patient, wait for it to finish, the lines come up one at a time, take the extra two minutes and see what I mean, ok? :)
