media player image freeze

A picture by Shadows and Dust called Distance came up on media player and totally froze my computer up. I've had pages not load before and slow things take time to load. But I compensated for some of the that by using firefox browser instead of IE based ones. But this particular pic froze even my firefox up. Just letting you know :)

Thanks for the info wile1 - please keep us informed of any problems that you have whilst at the site. We will keep an eye on things.

Hmm, initially when I looked at this pic (I am using Firefox also), it worked fine, if a little slow starting. The person has used buffering to get it to load up, and so initially not a lot happened. But then when I clicked on 'play in external player' man it hung up my computer something chronic! I could still do things on my computer in there, but Firefox wasn't playiing the ball game at all.

I don't know if it's the way the movie was put together, or the file size (10M) or what, but certianly soemthing seems odd with it.
