I don't know where to put this message, in the forums, so I chose this as the likeliest place... I am looking for people for a project.. They must be smarter than I am in the ways of programming... what is my desired goal??
The making of a mapping convertor to exchange mappings for terrain and textures from Voyager to ANY other programs.. I have seen maps that are Mojo to Terragen and could almost get a terrain from them but it was distorted somewhat... I can make hieght maps for Bryce that work and would like to find a team to make a convertor....I know that there are some VERY smart people that come through the doors of Innertraveler and I am sure there must be one that knows enough to help... this is of the utmost urgency to me... how many have seen the detail available in Voyagers renders ?? The excellence of the detail that this program is capable of, regardless of how close or far away it is in the scene (the reason I use mist for depth is that the farthest parts are TOO sharp...), I would not ask for any credit on the final product, which would be a convertor itself, but would love a copy of it when finished.. I would be willing to BUY THAT....if we could do that I would be glad to open my 60 some odd worlds up for everyone that wanted them... I don't know what you all have done to me but my URGE to contribute is totally fired up and i can't think of anything other than my artwork that I can give and make some kind of difference... I would love to see these used in Terragen or Mojo or Vue (not sure if that is even possible for Vue) by a lot of you.. I have explored between 2% and 10% of any one world... I wouldn't be giving anything of UI Softwares but just my own mappings I made myself in AMPro (Voyagers BIG Brother)... if you or someone you know is interested PLEASE CONTACT ME!!! Only the serious developers, please... I can provide my maps for experimentation and to help in the developement...and the AMPro Bible on my site will help understand what is going on when I make these...So I hope this gets read by THAT particular person or persons with these abilities...
