There is a new forum - Terrains and Landscapes - which is a combination of 2 other forums which have been deleted (after the posts were moved to the new destination) - within the main Terrains and Landscapes forum there are sub forums for Terragen, and Artmatic, so even though it is now "one" forum the posts can still be kept specific to the program they are intended for - the moderators of both forums are now all co-moderators of the new combined forum. We hope this will make it easier for members to find things here!!

I didn't leave, they banned me because I caught them rigging my

they killed the View count so no one could prove they were rigging it..
notice no more view count.. Why would a judge.. ANGIE the Admin, kill
the only way we had to vote knowing full well that was the way we were
judging the contest after I caught ClassyLady and Ron Clicking thier own
pictures to get a high view count....right after I caught them she
kiled the view count so I couldn't prove it and banned me for telling folks

Korbin - Thank you for alerting us to this - a few other members recieved these as well - from GrimAvenger.

Well, as this is now in public lets clear the air. We did NOT ban Dragonwizard. We did not RIG his contest. And if he keeps slandering me I shall have no alternative but to seek legal action against him!

Although we had no intention of making this public, and I do not like discussing peoples personal problems DragonWizard has forced us to act. He suffers with a condition called Bi Polarism (used to be called Manic Depressive)and occassionally this condition gets out of hand and his medication does not work as well as it should and he blows up. This has happened in the past and several members and admin have suffered as a result of his outbursts. We had an agreement with Dragonwizard that if we, the admins, noticed his condition getting out of hand that we should ban him from the site for a short time as sort of "damage limitation" exercise, to stop him from "hurting" anyone. We dutifully did this a few days ago when DragonWizard started a "flame war" in one of the forums. DW however seems to have forgotten the agreement and sent me a very nasty, very vindictive e-mail, full of filth and abuse and threats to hack the site. These threats have been reported to his ISP, and we had no choice but to take them seriously and as a result DW's temporary ban became a permanent one. As he was banned from the site the contest had to be closed as we were not in a position to fulfil the prize money offer made by DW. However DW has made several attempts to get back into the site and created several new user accounts, GrimAvenger being one of these, all of them have now been deleted.

If anyone else recieved one of these mails from GrimAvenger aka Dragonwizard, please disregard it. If DW wants to pay out the person he says won the contest that is entireley his perogative.

well as long as its out everyone might as well know the real DW who is not only a mental case he is also extremely dangerous he wants to point fingers at me or at Ron #1 the image he was talking about was not in any contest #2 he originally got mad at me because I had asked him not to go so overboard with his comments on my work the reason is he promised me to many things prior and like always it fell through just like every contest he has sponored. I will not defend myself to anyone I did not nor did Ron pad any stupid views on our images, that is typical of a maniac depressant how do I know what a manic depressant can and will do. All I am going to say is watch your back because your turn will be next.

Sadly to say my cousin inherited it from her father, thus we have been astranged for many years they want to only believe what they can accept as reality in their own twisted mines. Those that think he was such an angel and is so sorry to see him go do not know him at all. go to the nearest dictionary and look it up. then maybe you will half way understand the mentality of such a person.

Sure is really strange to even think we could pad views on our own images for one thing each image only allows making a comment on it 1 time only for another I do not need to have tons of views I really could care less how many times any image was viewed it would seem to me if he was running an honest contest views would not matter at all. And your right Korbin this is not the first time.

This is so funny me padding my contest picture in his contest...I didn't even have an entry in it.........I even challanged him to prove that there was ANY PADDING of the view counts and he couldn't do that......So now he is blameing everyone else for all his troubles...............I hear also that he has been in trouble in different galleries around the net for the same thing........
As far as I am concerned for now anyway this whole thing is over and done with, time to get back on with the show and make this place a better and bigger outlet for art work.

If your talking to me I had 5 very nasty IM's from this person and frankly I was going to delete my entire gallery and leave permanently. For one I am 60 years old I have no time for his kind of language . this was not the first time nor the second time 3 times is a strike out with me. I certainly do not have to explain myself at my age, least not to him :disbelief I have no reason to pad anything I don't need to believe me they all stand on there own merit good or bad. :hug:

I can even understand Engle47’s response…up to the point where she reprints portions of his e-mail. This served no point but to entice the types of responses that followed…if these same things were being said in "open" forum about an active member…S**t would be hitting the fan. So why should it be OK to talk about someone like this behind their back where they can not defend themselves?

I dunno. Listen, Im not trying to make an arguments Here, Actually Im new to the site, And the freindly ppl here attracted me Its just upsetting when i see this kinda thing goin round Ppl deleting ppl and freinds torn apart gossip the list goes on. This is definatly Not a One sided thing At least thats how i see it.

I agree with you - the thread is dusturbing!

But it serves a point. The point is that DW gained access to the site whilst banned and created new user accounts in order to send out these messages.(as Korbin and several other members have reported recieving). Please re read my post - I did nor reprint portions of his message (plural) I quoted a portion (singular) that is how he wrote it - will all the dots......... (and that's one of the nice bits). The whole point is this is an OPEN forum and he is not an active member. DragonWizard himself has forced this into the open by behaving as he has done. Had he not sent me that e-mail, had he not been nasty to other members, had he not created new user accounts, had he not sent mails to members running down the site - then none of this would be here now!
He says ShadowWalker won his contest - fine - go look at the view counts yourself in the various members galleries - using DW's theory that veiws were important then this would not have been a winner, there are other members that entered that got far more views and I am not including ClassyLady in that, he says she hyped her view count, how do we know that? Only because he says so - and he is proven unreliable, proven a liar. How do you know that it wasn't him hyping the view count so that he had an excuse to pick on her?...

And Korbin - removing the view count was an Admin desicion as we had been informed - by DW himself - that the views were being falsiefied - we removed the views to prevent that from happening again, and both Judges offered DW alternative methods of judging that did not rely on the view count. Our Tech guy was working in the background at the same time making the changes you now see to try and improve it!

Korbin - you hi-jacked this thread my friend, posting your e-mail - you could have approached an Admin or a mod in private with your concerns!! If you find it disturbing - you should have considered that before making the post!
By the way SI! how about Korbin - he posted a whole E-mail - not just a tiny weeny bit of one - going to rip into him now are you?
