Good news Poser fans.
I have been negotiating with Daz3D and they have agreed to sponsor a Poser contest here at Innertraveler every 3rd Month, beginning in June.
They are offering prizes of a $15 voucher for 1st prize, $10 voucher for 2nd prize and $5 voucher for 3rd prize. To be eligable to claim the prize you need to have an account at Daz3D, (free to set up) and all I have to do then, is to send them a list of the winners names, the posistion awarded, and the e-mail address that you used to set up your Daz3D account and they will set up the vouchers in your account for you.
So if you are interested in this, keep an eye open on the forum as the first contest theme will be announced shortly, and every 3rd month thereafter. :floating: :ta-da:

Hopefully we shall see a renewed interest in the Poser contests :work: Not saying that people enter to win prizes, but the "none prize" challenges haven't exactly been overwhelmed with entries, so hopefully this will encourage people to participate.

I hope so too, I know i won't be entering this months just don't have anything that fits the theme, its an adorable theme and really wished I had something unfortunately just don't :(
I kind of have to steer away from the contests because I mix PSP in so much. My system seems to freeze on large scenes with many figures, etc. so I create them seperately and put them together in PSP. That, I think disqualifies me from many contests.

I don't see why Q.R. The majority of poser artist do that. Its very hard to get a lot of characters in a scene with bg's and props and all and not have your puter freeze up. So most do tend to make them using psp or ps. :) Now you know my secret! :disbelief

I think that so long as the poser renders that are composited together remain almost pure poser - i,e not so much postwork you cannot tell it was poser, then it should not be any problem, and for a contest you don't alaways need multiple characters and large scenes - often one or two characters with a simple background will suffice. Depends on the theme.
