Why has the ability to 'copy'' been taken away?!!! It sure makes it inconvinient when it comes to sending out private messages to all who post comments under my images. Now I am forced to send only one message at a time. I don't like this. Too time consuming with my slow dialup speed.

Well I just copied and pasted your original message (above) so I am not sure what you are talking about.

"Well I just copied and pasted your original message (above) so I am not sure what you are talking about."

I can copy and paste here also. What I am talking about is when you click on to view a large image. You no longer can right click and save a large image to your hard drive.

Also, I have been sending 'thank you' private messages to all who comment on my posts. When you click to send a private message it states that you can send up to 15 at once. In the past, I have highlighted each name of the persons who commented on my image, pasted each name into notepad and then selected them all to paste in the address place of the private message and then type my thank you message and send them all at once. Now I cannot copy any of the names of those who commented. I am forced to send one individual thank you at a time due to this problem.

I hope you can understand what I am talking about.

Marion,

Can you go into your Control Panel here ("UserCP" link at top of page) - select "Edit Options" from the left side menu there - then scroll to the bottom of that page to the section marked "Message Editor Interface"... you need to set that to "Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls" - then click on "save changes".

Yes it does kinda bug me that we can't right click and copy our pictures off. I understand the reasoning for no right click but how can we if say we lose our pics off our hd or our disk we have them on gets ruined get them back if we can't right click? Is there a way around this just for ourselves?

Hmmmm.... I can't right click on the images in the gallery either.

Great for copywrite protection - but lousy if one were to want to grab their own images... can't even do it when logged into your own gallery... grrr!

There is no way to prevent a person from saving an image from a webpage, if that is what they're intent upon doing. It's an ongoing discussion on most every board discussing site design and the consensus is always the same. Disabling right click is just an irritation to users.

Save backups. Preferrably to CD if you have one, mail them to yourself if you have an email account that allows a lot of storage (that way even if your whole computer fries you should be able to access them through the internet still) which is about the best you can do. And if you know the tricks you can always get around the 'no right click' thing, but I'd be asking someone else to remind me how to do it.

I have backups for the most part Rumour. I put almost everything on disk when I get enough for a disk full. Right now I'm out of disks so I got to wait til pay day to back up some more things. Unfortunetly that doesn't always work. I had one disk of pics I did probably a year or so ago that I put on disks it was fine but something happened to the disks. I don't know what for sure I think it was dropped or fell off the desk and got ruined. the case and all. Someone stepped on it. My desk sits next to the path to the kitchen, and the cats knocked of a couple disks one night and hubby or son walked through in dark and stepped on one. So I lost a whole disk full of old pics which I'll never get back. They werent on my site cause I only have so much space there. So things happen. Thats why it would be nice if there was some way the owner of the pics could get their own pics off a site.

Okay well I do understand the no right click thing. and yes there are ways of getting the pics if you want them. I had one stolen once. friend of mine found it on another site. It happens. Still just wish that the owner could do something in their own galleries maybe to get pics.

ummm I'm rambling again aren't I? :lachen001 sorry lol!!

Sure can.. Yote is short for Coyote. A small wolf like animal that roams the United states. Usually brownish in color and lives off small mice, rabbits etc. They have been know to live in towns also and find food in trash cans. They are found for the most part in all of the states. But more so out in the desert southwest. Where I live there are coyotes but they are illusive. Coyotes for the most part are like wolves to the extent they don't stay around humans. Since my online name is wile and since the cartoon charater of Wile E Coyote is a crazy coyote everyone calls me yote. I just live with it! :D

That looks like a fox to me wile1... lol!

Are coyotes related to foxes by any chance?

Coyotes are more in the dog family like the wolf. Fox are smaller and more illusive than coyotes. I think fox are more in the cat family. I don't know for sure don't take my word for it. We also have fox around here. I've seen them in the evenings playing in the fields. But not so much anymore since the area is growing and more housing is coming in. We also don't have wolves around here although... One time I was sitting here at the puter and turned around looked out my big picture window and what was starring back at me was a big 200# wolf. Okay he was someone's pet and very tame and a bit lost even had a collar on. But it was a wolf. Scarey! :)

Thank you very much for enabling the Rt. Click! It does make me very happy. Now it is so much easier to post my 'thank you' messages to everyone at once.
