There are a lot of people who do photography here .. what about a forum on photography... hints tricks, best camera's how to's etc.

Problem is that all our photographers upload and run :waffen093 No one stays around to read the forums. Ah well - It was a good idea :cries:

I'm working on getting a photographer to post here. She is a wonderful photographer who also does PS work. She likes to do small things like photograph bugs. Speaking of which Hubbadub also does some photography and so does mystique. I've uploaded a few pics my son has done and Im sure he would want more to be shown. I haven't a clue where eric went.. I haven't even seen him in rosity for about 2 months. He might be working though hard to say. But people do photography. I just wish more folks would take adavantage of the forums.

Maybe the idea we had once of a newsletter is a good one. Explain the forums to them in newsletter cause some folks have stated they don't understand them. Just a thought! I'd be willing to help out with one. I did a newsletter years ago for the scouts.

The newsletter was a good idea, but nothing came of it. I can't see though how people don't understand the forums. It's simple = click on the forum name itself to go into the forum and see all recent posts (use the drop down menu at the bottom to see more posts - old posts) - or click on the last post title to go straight into that thread.

I think what is confusing is the place where it shows the last post. People tend to think that there are no more posts in that forum if they see the last one. Okay for instance.. in Travelers Pub the thread word association seems to always have the Last post done. Which is because people are always posting on it.. but folks don't understand that there are other threads in that forum because they see ... last post... so they don't open it and look.

I think I've finally figured it out but.. I get a tad confused and forget to open the forum sometimes. Of course if it says I posted last yesterday then I know no one has posted since me on anything so I don't look. :)

Thanks Chris I'd like to see him post them also, but he's more into chatting with friends at yahoo and his ghosthunters sites and wrestling etc. And of course music sites. He's also busy working almost full time for a part time worker and preparing to go back to school this fall to start work on his bachelors degree. Busy boy along with a girlfriend lol. :)
