Fractalus is a freeware truecolor highresolution fractalgenerator for 32-bit Windows.
Features:
- truecolor rendering
- saves and loads parameterfiles
- saves and loads palettes
- saves pictures as jpg or bmp
- Mandelbrot and Julia fractaltypes
- 27 different drawing styles
- palette manipulation
- slideshow (cycles through parameterfiles in random order in fullscreen)
- easy zooming and unzooming
- make zoom movies from jpg image sequences
- automatic unzooming
- graphical Julia finder
- etc.
Minimum requirements:
- 32-bit windows (Win98,WinME,Win 2000 and Win Xp tested)
- Intel Pentium class computer (or AMD Athlon & Duron - also 486 with math co-processor might work)
- 64 megabytes memory
- graphics card with 32-bit truecolor resolution
- several hundred megabytes of free hard drive space for movie rendering
The download file is on about 450 Kb (with source code)
