well, I guess that if nobody has smth to say here, I'll upload an self-portrait of mine that is made recently to hear some opinions...
the photo is made with a Canon EOS 3000N 28-80mm on Kodak Profoto 100; the tripod was a rock that I've found in a park - I love the place and I've made some self-portraits that time. I remember a man looking at me like at a crazy man; I know that I'm one of them but you should've seen that man's face when I lied down on my belly to make the focus of the scene...what a laugh! :lachen001
the only postwork is the desaturation in PS.
have a superb sunday! mihai

->agree with all of you - that's too much silence on this front of photography @ inner....hmmmm! anyway it seems that here are just a few people that come to visit galleries and when it comes of comments, ewwww :rage:
obviously, I do not post for comments, but in the same time you'd like to see that people are interested in what you're trying to express or to catch in your images...
->@Revenant - yeah, man - Stratovarious! (obviously I listen a lot more; my Rammstein T-shirt next time :-P) :headbang:
->I'll post here other self-portraits and another images; at least here the photos will be seen by those one interested in seeing!
P.S. @Revenant - ha, haaaa - >>>I think I've found a photo with another T-shirt :musik010: so, here it is...

-> and another one...this one was the funniest to make - my camera was set on a little hill on self-timer...you shoud've seen me running like hell in order to get in time in the scene before those 10 seconds.... :D :imslow: :nana:
ciao, for the moment...I'll sure post another photos....
--> a question: Does it worth making photography on classic film nowadays? Because I still prefere it!

Okay I have to confess I took his color photo and made it greyscale.. but even he likes it better. The color was beautiful and bright. But I think this old cabin looks better b&w... Chris... this cabin is well over 100 years old. Im surprised its stood up all this time. Its kinda musty inside but they have done a very beautiful job of preserving it. We have stone house here to. Not many but there are some. My grandparents lived in one for years.

what a place to live in must been for so many years...B/W photography express often so much more than a color photography, even if the color one has its own perfume.
I better ask Angela to move this thread in photo/forum, even if there each of us will open a separate thread for his own photography work as would be normal.
be happy!

Looking at some of those poses, I'm very surprised this didn't happen to you... :very_firs !!!! Or at the very least that they didn't send out the men in white coats to take you away! lol!!

You were very brave!

Very interesting photos, and love the desaturation idea as well..
