I'm Lost!!! But then.. I'm New Here!

Firstly, Hi to everyone, and I know there are loads of people here whom I've met before, so that gives me a nice warm feeling. Carolyn (ClassyLady) reminded me of this site (I joined back in May this year then forgot all about IT, as I was too busy "elsewhere" (some of you will guess where that was, lol!). Got a bit fed up there, and so now I've come over here. Hmmmmmm...

When I say I'm lost, I mean I still haven't much of a clue how to use these forums! I left a reply to someone else's message in this section, and having done so I couldn't find my way back to the main section in Meet & Greet so that I could leave more replies! Oh well, no doubt I will suss it out. I got back here by doing a whole cycle of clicking on links! :+devwatch

Oh one other thing.. Besdies some practice at Fractal work, I do a lot of mixed media art, i.e. using two or more programs to bring something together, predominently in PSP8. I see there's a Collabertor's gallery and wondered what that is? Someone told me to post in my personal gallery, but I'm not sure if that's what is intended either? Is there a specific gallery to accommodate this sort of stuff?

Looking forward to meeting you all - and many thanks to those who have alread left me some great encouragements on my first upload here yesterday.

I can answer a few of your questions, but first let me say welcome to Inner Traveler (again?). Always good to see old and new faces here.

The Collaborator's Gallery is the place to put up work you've done with another artist. This doesn't necessarily have to be with an IT artist, but the reason for putting work in there is to give credit to the other person (or people) who helped you with your work.

I think the User's Personal Gallery is perhaps the place where you can put stuff where maybe it doesn't fit into any other category? I don't think I've ever used it myself as the other galleries suffice, but it is also the default gallery people upload their images to and so perhaps is needed for that, but doesn't necessarily have to be used.

Most of the time you can navigate using the links at the top of the page... it typically looks something like this:

www.innertraveler.com > InnerTraveler Stuff > Meet & Greet! (come as you are :-) > Hi
-> Reply to Thread

With a bar underneath with the following links that you can navigate:

User CP | Forums | Gallery | Freebies | FAQ | Members List | Calendar | New Posts | Search | Quick Links | Log Out

That's the simple way around and I find it most useful, although the other links can be useful if I know I'm going to be replying to several threads in a forum. I hope that helps answer some of your questions. :D
