I was wondering about an extra category...

I've seen the various forums, and the challenges on the go, and that they all pertain to sepcific artforms, such as Poser, Bryce, Fractal etc.

As I (and others, I've noticed) use a lot of mixed media, I was wondering whether there could be a new forum category, and challenge category for Mixed Medium - or 2D? This could include all of the 2D proggies like PSP, PS, Painter, etc. where more than one proggie or tool may be used to achieve the image? (Fractals are often used too in MM art.)

So far as challenges within such a section were concerned, I think it would be great fun to have a challenge, say, for the most ethereal looking angels or fairyland scene. :floating:

What do you think?

It is a great idea,Mikan the moderator had the same idea for a challenge like you, even a beautiul poem can be put in the challenge,I hope he is working on it!!!

Please feel free to light a fire under any of the forum moderators if you want a specific challenge started :FIREdevil - I am sure that so long as enough people will actually enter (and not just yourself *LOL*) that most of the mods will be happy to run a challenge. We do have a 2d section of forums so have a browse in there. I think a general IT wide challenge is a good idea and something we can think about in a bit more depth. :juggle:

@vos - I have an idea for a poetry challenge: those that will participate will come with a single word and each of us will make a poem with those words..sounds complicated, I know, but since is 04:47a.m. here and I don't sleep, this seems to be the perfect hour for some ideas...Weellllll, what do you say???? can we start the :hungry: or the :nana: ? I feel like dancin', don't you? muaghhhh.

Hoi, Mikan for me is this a excellent idea,but I think a poem in english is also for me a big challenge,I must translate and sometimes I can not translate it right,I`m a dyslexic ,but I like to give it a try.Here it is 06:00 am(but at 05:00 am I get out my bed!!!
