Not heard of them - but what did you screw up and why hoping to be wrong??? I think you need to explain a bit more.

I purchased the software from the site, and not till I had paid through Paypal did I notice the site had not been updated since 2003. So I was hoping someone knew something of the author, or any other information.
Have submitted a claim with Paypal, but would really rahter get what I paid for instead.

Ah I see. Can't help I am afraid I had never hear of them. Perhaps someone else here may know something - try posting in the fractal forum as it appears to be fractal software - perhaps they may know more.

I went to the link you provided and here is what you might be able to do:
Try to email the author:
ragnarok@hypercomplex.org
Or if you have the time, google the name of the author of the program and view various links and perhaps you can find some way of contacting them that way:
Name of author is : Godwin Vickers
Hope this helped...

Thank you for all that. I got in touch with the co-maker and hopefully can get a refund from the original place of purchase to buy from his site instead. The co-creators has more or less dropped the site, and software.

If you paid through paypal all you should have to do is get ahold of them and explain the situation to them, If I had seen this sooner I would have suggested simply canceling your payment and still would try it
Unfortutnately the only thing you can do now is like Pat said contact the guy and I would certainly let pay pal know what has happened and yell lol you got robbed lol.... sorry I know it is not funny but on thing is you can contact pay pal customer service. They have helped me before Good Luck:)
