Re: Cray CX1-iWS - the new home computer

Seriously? I thought the hype was written like instructions translated into not quite good english. LMAO!!! Ya know, like the ones that come in things made in China?
I'm not getting another computer until they make extra memory reasonably priced. That , and I get off dial up. Who needs a high powered computer with no memory and no where to go.

Re: Cray CX1-iWS - the new home computer

My cpus are
Toshiba Satellite Laptop w/Vista Home Pre (refurb from manufacturer $450.00 @ Radio Shack
Acer Duel core 4400 w/ Vista almost 3 yrs old has a seperate external HD Vista Home Pre (this is the workhorse but still its aging and Im considering a full change to Win 7 $700.00 when new
Last but not least a Dell dual core approximately 2 yrs old configured for my Media Center $100.00 Bargain Yes but I had to clean the whole system former owner had it pretty bad

Dial up is something I have had and will never again I chose DSL w/the avg speed cost is 35.00 a month

That Cray system.s $ is scary Opting for Win 7 allows for great speed IMHO

I invest into my cpu's sparingly but always to get the most of what I have
